This photo using the “guideline” of thirds. I call it a guideline, because calling it a rule means people get stuck and use it exclusively. It is something that is great to understand and use, but it is definitely not the only way to compose a photo.
I placed the elements on the lines and then adjusted to move the lettuce more centrally (without putting it in the middle). It has a sort of symmetry to it due to the right angles, but is not really symmetrical otherwise.
